im such a sucker for a sweet talker.

i cry.
i was folding three loads of caleb &jacobs clothes this evening & i thought.
i thought this,
is it okay to cry when youre by yourself?
before i knew it, my heart formed a knot,
&tears slowly fell down my cheeks.
so i asked myself again,
is it okay to cry when im by myself?
i put down the shirt,
wiped my tears,
& answered,
yes, its okay to cry.

SCREW UP KID.
if i can wish for just one thing in this world,
it wouldnt be to wish that my son was normal,
& that his diagnosis never existed.
if i can hope for just one thing in this world,
it wouldnt be to hope that my family can be together as one,
& that we can all just love once again.
if i can look forward to just one thing in this world,
it wouldnt be looking forward to reaching my goal,
& graduation is another year closer.
because,
all i want,
is to hear,
& to hear words from my mom.
all i want,
is my mom to say one nice thing about me,
instead of telling me everything im doing wrong,
instead of yelling at me for being a young mom,
instead of nagging about my mistakes,
intead of saying words that degrade me.
i do everything.
but what i do,
is never good enough.
i dont think i ever was.

M Y_L O V E S.
the boys and i had park day with mon cherie. the weather was awesome so i made sure to bring my camera =] caleb and jacob LOVE the swings so we spent most of our time on there. jacob was so eager to go on the slide but i was too scared because i hate when i get those shocks. you know, when you touch plastic and then you touch someone else? that 'shock.' you know what i mean. better luck next time...when we go on a playground with steel slides. its safer! jacob kept finding cheerios on the ground too, so i had to keep chasing him! he turns two this year and you know what they say...they become terrible twos. check out the pictures of my little rugrats =]
